In late 2021, a group of Bangladeshi tech entrepreneurs spotted a gap — people in Bangladesh were looking for online entertainment, but most platforms were foreign, in English, and didn't support local payment methods. Bajioo was built to fill exactly that gap.
The team started small — just 12 people. But the goal was clear: build a platform that anyone could use, from a rickshaw driver to a corporate professional. Integrating Mobile Pay and Nagad for deposits and withdrawals was the biggest technical challenge — and it was solved successfully.
What happened in the first year?
In the first half of 2022, Bajioo introduced lottery play starting at just ৳50. It was a bold move — tickets that affordable weren't available on the market at the time. People responded. Over 2,000 users signed up in the very first month.
That same year, Bajioo launched its cricket betting section — and Bangladesh's cricket fans jumped at it. During IPL and Bangladesh international matches, platform traffic would triple.
How was trust built?
Earning trust online is hard, especially in the gaming sector. Bajioo did it gradually, the right way — by streaming live footage of every draw, ensuring timely withdrawals, and responding quickly to any complaint. These three practices are what set Bajioo apart.
After earning an international license in 2023, trust in the platform grew significantly. Third-party audit reports began being published on the website. Membership numbers doubled year on year.
Where is Bajioo today?
Today, Bajioo is active in all 64 districts of Bangladesh. Over 500 people play daily on average, and the team has grown to more than 80 staff — the majority of whom are Bangladeshi.
Bajioo plans to add more local games, further improve the mobile app, and extend access to rural areas. The goal is simple — entertainment for every person in Bangladesh.
Our commitment: Bajioo will always be transparent. No hidden terms, no unnecessary delays. Your trust is our greatest reward.
